Calusa Instititute’s library organizes its collection using the Library of Congress Classification (LCC) system, a widely recognized method for categorizing and arranging resources. This system ensures that materials are grouped by subject, making it easier for students to locate books, journals, and other resources relevant to their research. Borrowing Books

Our library offers a convenient borrowing system to ensure you have access to the resources you need. Books can be checked out for a two-week period, giving you ample time to explore and utilize the material for your studies or projects. If you need more time, renewals may be available, depending on demand. To ensure availability for all students, we encourage prompt returns. Please note that lost or unreturned books will incur a replacement fee to cover the cost of the item, allowing us to maintain a well-stocked collection for future use. Library staff are happy to assist with borrowing or renewing items to make the process as seamless as possible.
